. . . it remains one of the fundamental reasons the radicals hate our everlovin' guts . . . the US insistence on sucking up to certain
middle-eastern dirtbags (the Saudis, etc.) . . . and getting to the proper posture is a tough trip.

    Here's my four cents...

It's works both ways as far as sympathy, to his family, employees who were unaware, and the those who got bilked. Period. End of fucking story.

We can keep talking on how much we hated Lay, but the damage had been done and it's over for the most part. He was found guilty and it just happens he keeled over. "Burn in hell?" "Yea, he's dead, but the fucker cheated!" Whoop-a-fuckin'-dee. Everyone's happy, eh? Lay, Skilling, and the rest of the greedy bastards (since we never talk about them and they should deserve some ripping) at Enron walked into hell the minute they found a way to circumvent rules and accounting practices to skim a couple of millions (even more) off the top.

BTE is right. We hate to look ourselves in the mirror. We have a schizophrenic complex. Ten years ago, we were talking on how great this guy is, and here we are still pissed on how he made thousands of people play "Ben Dover, I have something to show you."

Another reason why corporations rise and burn too fast and not maintain a shred of consistency and trust. It's like finally dating that girl (or guy), everything is fine, then you find out too late that he or she just banged your neighbor. Oh, the next a-hole that brings up conspriacy theory of him being alive, you are dead to me.

What's done is done. He's dead and that is that. It's over. Carry on.
