"Chuckles The Clown Bites The Dust" is perhaps the zenith of television comedy writing. We were required to write a paper on it way back when in broadcasting school. And the Dick Van Dyke Show episode where Laura finds out Alan Brady is bald is amazing, as well. RIP Happy Hotpoint.

The green dress episode was on Sunday night. Awesome.

Just my opinion, MTM show depended strongly on MTM and Asner. they were such strong sitcom characters. Rhoda was also strong. Murray, Lou Ann were good as secondary characters.

Georgette was horrible, and I wasn't a fan of Cloris Leachman. The show's quality went down dramatically if the scene didn't include Mary or Lou.

MTM's mom character in Ordinary People was one of the most unforgettable movie characters I've ever seen. I have chills just thinking about it. My favorite movie of all time, though the last time I saw it a couple years ago, I vowed, through my sobbing, that this was the last time I was ever going to watch it.

A TV legend. Pioneer with the MTM Show.

Also, without question, the best rack in the black and white TV era.

I don't know about rack, but nobody in that era wore a pair of pants like MTM wore a pair of pants.
