    Anybody doubting Prince's rock bona fides (Rated PG-13):



    Any of the hair-metal bands of the 80s/early 90s would have killed for this song. (Including the Hanna-Barbera sound effects.)

    Chuck Klosterman says it's a toss-up between "Purple Rain" and "Appetite for Destruction" for best rock album of the 1980s.

    Also, AFD is the winner in a landslide. Purple Rain is a great album, but it's not a better rock album than AFD.
