RIP Rob Ford

Arte Lang is warming up in the bullpen as we speak. Hell, it'd be a method acting part for him.

 

And Artie is almost as off the rails at this point as Rob was at his worst.

A book on him recently came out from one of the other councilors who used to be a reporter (at the Sun, maybe?). Been meaning to read it.

May those he leaves behind find some solace.

 

The best part is declaring murder via cancer a "fact."

 

Bad people die everyday too, JC. And point well taken about Ford's past.

Ford, Marion Barry, among a few are elected officials who didn't cover up their shit from the public and pretended to be the sanitized, moral, righteous public officials that people exude and love. That's full of shit if you asked me. Nobody's fucking perfect...not even good people as you wrote.

The same people that couldn't stand Ford are the same people who couldn't get enough of the guy because he genuinely gave a fuck about the folks in Toronto who felt left out.

Give me an imperfect lout over a "perfect" politician. Barry was no saint, but god damn, the people in D.C. stuck by his ass through thick and thin.

People love a fuck-up, though they pretend not to. That's the hypocrisy of citizens: well-mannered professionally-looking candidate who in it for the money and the fame. The fuck-up fucks up for all to see, and the sumbitch tries to do right by his constituents, no matter how much he fails.

 

Bleach Bobby Moynihan's hair and he's perfect.

 

This post is worse than the article. Rob Ford cared about nobody but himself and his cronies. He was a horrible human being.

I left out extortion and paying to have people beat up in jail, possibly murdered.

If you think he gave a fuck about anybody other than himself you are delusional.
