    Shared an elevator with him a few times when he was doing work for the Mountain West's TV broadcasts. It was clear a few years ago, even, that he wasn't doing well.

    Sad that a guy who supposedly never had a drink of alcohol (he was Mormon) would die of liver disease. According to one story I read, his family blamed his liver problems on a botched gall bladder operation several years ago.
