    Thanks for sharing, HanSenSE.
Just curious. Did anyone ever hear Mr. Scully say the Dodgers "fell" or "fall" to an opponent?
Sorry, pet-peeve of mine. I'm so tired of hearing or reading about "clumsy" losses.

one thing I noticed a lot of lately in watching old GoTWs - Vin really loved Irish poets.
Did he and Joe really not like one another? Because there is not the slightest hint of that in the broadcasts, either then or now.

    Imagine Vin reading bedtime stories:

“And so the Big Bad Wolf went up to the first house of the Three Little Pigs. Speaking of wolf, Grace, did you know there once was as a pitcher named Randy Wolf? He won 11 games for the Dodgers back in 2009. Anyways, the Big Bad Wolf went up to the house of sticks and said, “Little Pig, little pig let me in! And the little pig said, “Not by the hair of my chinny-chin chin.”

Speaking of chins, Chin-Hu Tsao pitched for the Dodgers in both 2007 and 2015 … and the wolf said, “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in. … David Huff pitched three nondescript games for the Dodgers in 2015. Meanwhile Brandon Puffer won three games for the Astros in ‘02 and later pitched in the Collin County Penal League … and the wolf blew down the house of sticks. Speaking of sticks, next Thursday will be Tribute to Styx Night at Dodger Stadium. Anyone who dresses as Mr. Roboto gets half price on one Dodger Dog …”

As long as he doesn't tell her the story of his escapades with Jose Madrigas.

"Of course this wasn't a Styx song, but I recall the solo hit by vocalist Dennis DeYoung, 'Desert Moon', that reminded me of a trip I took one night in Vegas with one-time Reds farmhand Jose Madrigas. The count is 2-1 on Chase Utley...."
