    Maybe the Post-Dispatch's A1. No doubt a big part of what rock and roll has been, as far as an influence, but a non-entity for at least four decades.

    Perhaps Willie Nelson would get A1 - I'd have to go back and see where Johnny Cash's obit was played. But between the songs, acting roles, drug arrests, IRS problems and just generally being the Red Headed Stranger, Willie Nelson's one of the most ubiquitous pop culture figures of the past 30 years.

    You could make a case for Stevie Wonder, too, as I think he's probably the most underrated "legendary" performer of the rock/soul era.

    Maybe Dolly Parton as well, although she's more likely be buried around Page 44 of the D section.

    Well, with Stevie Wonder being so underrated, you can't make an argument for A1. Nor should you.
