It's the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not the Rock and Roll Hall of Pretty Good

I'm not saying these people are more musically talented than Whitney, but we had her on A1 down the side. So I would think all of these singers would be given at least the same. This is just off the top of my head.

    In no particular order:
    Aretha Franklin
    Diana Ross
    Stevie Wonder
    Tina Turner
    Celine Dion
    Cher
Barbra Streisand (although maybe more for movies)
    Janet Jackson
    Rod Stewart
    Paul Simon
    Sting
    Willie Nelson
    Dolly Parton
    Garth Brooks
    Steven Tyler
    Tony Bennett

Heck, what do I know, at an East Coast paper I worked at (about 75,000 daily, 100,000 Sunday), we did not even put Frank Sinatra on the cover when he died.

Again, how do people keep forgetting McCartney?

I'm not forgetting McCartney, just adding to the list of him, Ringo, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Dylan, Bono, Prince and a few others I forget someone posted earlier.

I would say Robert Plant, but I doubt he would get played on A1.

Amazing fact of the week for me was that John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but McCartney doesn't or at least didn't until this week.

I'm guessing if Whitney is out on A1, Janet Jackson has to be.

Mick Jaggers' death would be pretty big news.

Thank heavens that meatball sandwich I ordered showed up.

Looking forward to your next dissertation on how "Transformers 6" is a better film than "Taxi Driver."

    Meatball.
