Maybe she became distraught when she realized she would never be as big as Hannah Montana.

Estate value is going to skyrocket.

The surviving daughter stands to profit the least, as per usual.

I don't think that matters. They are very judicious about who gets A1, above the fold. I think significance - transcendent significance - is way more important than fame. I don't think a mere pop singer cuts it.

I agree that this may not be quite a "tragic" death in that it was an out of nowhere, random act.

The weird angle for me is that I've read a great deal of innuendo over the years that Bobby Brown was the reason for Whitney's downward spiral but it just seemed to be innuendo without any factual support. Bobby Brown has given off that bad boy persona but the charges I heard today were that he was jailed for not paying child support but nothing drug related. Maybe I'm off.

Houston's death was front page news in Moscow, Peking and Cape Town.
Those were the first three I checked.

In the 80's Whitney was the only one who kept Phil Collins and Kenny Rodgers off the radio. Think about them times. Good times.

POTUS played her 1991 rendition of the National Anthem this morning. Good stuff.
    RIP Whitney
