    Agreed, I think there wasn't any better way of handling that situation. I think he could've just let the story die in the following days but clearly a dig like that was going to eat at him for awhile. Parker may have just been trying to make a joke but if you've seen the video, it didn't come off like that at all. It may have been the kind of thing that played well when he was in the press box earlier that day that he tried to bring out for the cameras. All in all, a big miscalculaton on Parker's part.

    With that said, it's not like anybody at the head of that Detroit staff should have their job next season. Is there like a Michigan social services that can move in and take custody of a beaten and abused franchise?

    It's pretty dumb situation. He was trying to make funny. He apologized and said it was a joke that went bad. It's not a big deal. Why all the fuss? If some cutesy TV guy or girl asked this it would be not as big a deal. They do it all the time.
