    I'm in total agreement about the screechfest. It has run its course. Tar, I don't know what Rob was thinking. He shouldn't have done the interview.

    No, the bigger problem with Rob is that he can't write worth shit, is not very bright, and has no talent. The "mouth" spouting the attention-grabbing "controversial" takes is actually the only schtick he's had going, and the only thing that accounts for the career success he's had in recent years. He won't "learn" because he's got nothing else to fall back on.

    I wouldn't go that far. Rob is still on TV in Detroit. That hasn't changed. Don't be surprised to see him resurface very soon on the national tube scene. There are some things in the works.

    Rob's TV gig in Detroit have been helped a lot by his hot-dog place and barber shop sponsoring the Sunday recap show. I'm not sure what his long-term status is - he's currently filling in since the previous weekend anchor/update host abruptly left the business.
