If you did a line graph with cornball brother on one end and brother on the other Charles Barkley would be right in the middle.

Best line in PTI yesterday ...
Kornheiser: "Happy 50th birthday to the Ryan brothers. If you're scoring at home, Rex came out first, with 'cornball brother' Rob following a few minutes later."

Isn't that what the Detroit News did until they fired him?

He leaves an interesting legacy. A double-double.

Anyone who's followed Rob Parker's career since its inception isn't surprised by these comments, or anguished by their result.

Look, you lie in the bed you make for yourself. It got him where it was, and it got him suspended after XXX other inappropriate comments. That's the gambit he chose and that's the result he'll accept.

Interesting that Parker's suspension did not lead to the Twitter protests as what happened with Bruce Feldman "suspension"

Unfortunately for Parker, Drip is his most influential friend.

Though, honestly, Feldman not only didn't deserve to be suspended, ESPN didn't have the guts to publicly suspend. They hung him out to dry.

I'd like to know how a tool like Parker keeps getting jobs.

Tar, there are worst individuals than Rob. I too wonder why he screws up but he does have talent.
@Yankeefan you seem to have a problem with my having a relationship with him. What's up with that?
