Not to be snarky but apparently he has enough talent to keep getting hired.

No sign or mention of Rob on the Sunday wrap-up show that he hosts (and sponsors with his hot-dog joint and barber shop) on the NBC affiliate in Detroit. This is the show where he uses the cartoonish gimmick of telling the viewers what his "moles" and "CWPFs - you know, Close Warm Personal Friends" are telling him. It's usually big scoops like that the Tigers would drop out of the bidding for Anibal Sanchez if the price went over $100M/5 years.

For the record, this CWPF hasn't advised him to do anything.

Someone posted a link to a Bleacher Report story on The ESPN Rock Bottom thread which is even more interesting than the one you posted here. Here is a link:

Still no sign of Rob on the Sunday highlight show on Detroit's NBC affiliate. He had been serving as host and weekend sports anchor, but hasn't been on since the ESPN incident. The commercial for his hot-dog joint is still running, though.

Rob will return to the air. His suspension with ESPN is only 30 days.

I don't think his ESPN suspension has anything to do with what WDIV does.

Hot dog joint? A Coney Island, perhaps?
