Boots, do you get the purpose of this site? I do believe open expression and open CRITICISM about the substance of today's sportswriting is part of it. People post relevant articles, and users freely give their frank thoughts, comments, AND criticism. Nobody should be in this business whose can't take (if not welcome) open scrutiny of their work. That's precisely how this thread was proceeding until you intervened and mucked it up with these posts that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the actual substance of Parker's piece and instead expressed anger simply for the fact that it was being criticized. If you want to express disagreement and defend the merits of his writing or position taken--that's fine and would be welcomed, but these posts simply screaming that you're sick of seeing the guy being criticized without giving any reasoned defense make you look like a fool.

If you read my posts, as some guy actually counted, you will see the points I made about Rob's story. It seems to me that you read only the posts talking about the bashing of Rob.

Total bullshit slap. You guys get on here rant, rave and bash. I come here voicing a displeasure in reading the stuff and get kicked. I proved my point and some guy actually sits down to count my freakin post?
Talk about double standards. I listen and respect the views of others. Why villify me for speaking my mind? That's not fair.

Has anyone asked Alex Baldwing what he thinks of all this?

What you don't like Slap is that you got slapped on your ass with the truth. It's ok for you to write an opinion and not me? I don't think so.

    You're entitled to your opinion.

Don't blame slappy. It's not his fault they're all stupid.
