    Wow, boots.

    You are losing this argument.

    And badly.

Everyone else seems to be willing to keep it lighthearted, but if you make it serious, you will get crushed on the merits.

    Food for thought.

Worse columnist, Parker or El Sid? Discuss.

Look, it was a bad column. Everyone writes them. I'm tired of people taking shots at Rob. All I'm saying is if you can do better, write a column.

Who said some of us don't?

Not that I'm one of the people slamming the guy. I do disagree with his take and I think the use of the word coward was out of line and meant only for the stirring of feces.

Just don't tell me or anybody else on this board who we can and cannot question and criticize. We all have that right. Don't like it? Don't read it.

boots, it IS getting old. Get off the jealousy kick. You can't project that on others. Sometimes, you can just ... think ... somebody ... sucks.

And the rest of America doesn't have to go out and write columns to be allowed to say it, so there's no good reason to hold all of us to that yardstick.

Parker. Sid makes no bones about what he is.

    Were this an ISOLATED . . . BAD . . . Parker column, it'd be one thing.

    Regrettably, it isn't.

    They're off. You lose.

It's not about winning or losing. It's about bashing and criticizing. All I'm saying is if you can do better, do it. If not, then stop criticizing.

Boots, give it up. All you do is pour gasoline on the fire with this. Parker is a poor columnist. I know at my last two stops when I had a column, my worst day was slightly under Rob's best. And I'm far from the most talented writer on this board.
But you are the last person to convince people to stop picking on Rob; the more you do it, the more it will happen.

All you're saying is if we can do better, do it; all we're saying is "we have, we are, we will; now STFU..."

    Slappy gets it.

I'm not playing the other spin games. Reality doesn't change.

Here's TBL on Parker. Unsurprisingly, the lede is "The Worst Columnist in America:"
