Alomar is a Hall of Famer. No question there. However, if John Hirschbeck isn't going to lawyer up if it is revealed Alomar has AIDSproven . For those may not remember, in 1996, Alomar spat in Hirschbeck's face during a game.
I've often wondered why Alomar was traded so often and perhaps his sexual preferences may have been the reason.

That is the dumbest post in the history of this board.

What's so dumb? Because you didn't think of it? You need to really grow up and get a life son. Learn about the disease then talk what you know.
When was the last time you had a conversation with anyone besides a computer?
    Anyway, Roberto says he's healthy.

No, you learn about the goddamn disease.

AIDS can't be transmitted by saliva: http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/factsheets/transmission.htm

I'd like to say I'm surprised that he's lifted his leg and peed all over this thread to mark his territory. I really would.

    But I'm not.

And before you take another post, does the name Glenn Burke mean anything to you. I guess not because you probably wasn't born. His sexual preference made him a target in the clubhouse.
Perhaps this is too heavy of a subject for you to talk about without 1, trying to make a juvenile joke or 2, acting like an idiot and hoping others will join in, but how about acting like you are mature for once.
And even if Alomar doesn't have AIDS, this opens up another wound for baseball and sports in general. There are a lot of homophobics out there.

Stay on topic and have a happy Roberto Alomar says he's healthy day.

And to lecture Buckweaver about being mature...that's the height of unintentional irony.

You are a doctor now? I've had too many friends die of it and they weren't gay.
If I'm not mistaken, the virus that causes the disease is transmitted through bodily fluids. I guess saliva is no longer considered a bodily fluid. Perhaps that explains why even on a routine dental examination that dentists wear gloves.

    Or maybe because gums bleed.
