Then again, why does he have to? The only statements from him that he really owes are to a court under oath in the lawsuit.

Zag, not being funny or an ass, but I don't see where it would do any good. The damage has already been done. Remember when Magic announced he was HIV positive? Look at how he had beat off rumors that he had a gay relationship. I know he says the contracted it through heterosexual sex but that doubt still lingers in the mind of some.

 

Oh I agree with you completely -- I think this story is sad in many ways.

I was just pointing out that he never denied that he has the condition in question.

 

And then again, if this is solely about money, and he's not poor, a nice check could buy her silence.

 

Actually I think the way he phrased it means a lot. If he had neither HIV or AIDS, it would have been squarely in his interests to say that as quickly and clearly as possible. I can't imagine any reason for him to choose the words he did unless there was some truth to it.

I'm not sure what to think about all this, but it doesn't seem like she needs any money. Or at the least she runs a spa and is driving an Escalade.

Actually, the first two pages contained some interesting questions and observations, and there were some worthwhile posts on just about every page. However, Drip came in and sprayed diarrhea over the thread, like he has countless times elsewhere on the board, and here we are.
