For a variety of fairly boring reasons I live in Oklahoma.

The state’s law makers are quick to act on their weird hot-button issues, such as abortion, who uses which bathroom, curbs on BLM protests, protection for the state’s most venerated icon (guns), etc., while they’re completely ineffectual doing anything about the state’s real problems (substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, education - look at any national list and the things that are an embarrassment are pretty much ignored).

On top of all that the governor has done all he can to wreck relationships between his office and the tribes.

That’s just not true. The right wants more children for them to take and sell to Betsy DeVoss. They want more poor and minority children to keep the workforce stupid, uneducated and cheap for disposable labor. The right has never expressed a concern for the physical well being of America children, just eliminating critical thinking and uncomfortable history from schools.
