    I forgot we had this thread, went to start one and found it. Duh. Good. We need a separate place for this. I've been numb all day, talking to my kids, etc.

    BUT, let me note this here (and probably also on the politics thread): Stop with the posts suggesting someone get killed, or die. When's the next baseball practice, that kind of bullshit. It isn't funny and it isn't cool. You can have all the death wishes you want for someone but keep them to yourself.

    It has been an interesting few years in politics and we've been pretty loose about letting discussions go on because the overwhelming majority of you, no matter what side you are on, are adults and you act like it. I'd hate for the few of you who don't to ruin it for others so if it continues, we may have to remove some folks. Contrary to what some believe, we don't like to do that.

    Don't be an asshole.

    It should be toxic. It is not a description of a religious faith based on tolerance; it is code for contempt under the guise of religion. It has been hijacked. Just like “patriot.”
