I just cannot imagine going 190 MPH in a car, let alone on something with two wheels and no exoskeleton.

It is possible that he wasn't doing 190.
Even if he's doing 45 (which isn't an uncommon speed limit in my town) and hits a car, it's gonna get ugly real quick like.

I'll never get a crotch rocket. Street bike (Thinking Honda Rebel), maybe.
Flipped a four-wheeler about a decade ago at my cousin's house. I wasn't wearing a helmet. Broke my collar bone, partially tore the ACL in my left knee.
Because I was alive, walking, talking and breathing, my mother took me to the hospital near our home which was about an hour away. My mom walks into the ER and says, "I son flipped a four wheeler and wasn't wearing a helmet. I need help getting him in."
Nurse said, "Do we need a stretcher?"

Death must've been busy that day.

Point is. IF I ever get a bike, helmet will be mandatory for all riders.

The ex used to get his up to 130 on city streets and 150-160 on the Interstate. It scared the shit out of me. Can't say I was surprised when he wrecked. He never was real bright when it came to things with motors.

That woulda made the breakup easier.

We don't have many dingos out there. Coyotes, wolves, but no dingos. Perhaps you could send me one so I could sic it on the ex.

We need to focus on Ben here. This is no time to worry about ourselves.

He wants to die on his bike. I'm not kidding.

And 21's right. We should move the conversation back to Ben. Is there any new information?

I'm all for being concerned about Ben's health but isn't it a little much to be setting up a vigil outside his hospital? For Christ's sake, people, go home and get a life. Or spend some time with people you actually know and who might love you. This mindless obsession with celebrity has to end at some point, doesn't it?
Ah well, at least he's not a friggin' horse.
