Roethlisberger in motorcycle accident?

Ben Roethlisberger is going to be lucky to be alive after this, much less play football anytime soon.

 

My god! This is the kind of coverage networks would be providing if the president got shot.

 

You're talking about the most well-known player on the Steelers, probably the most cared about football team in the country, so I am not surprised.

 

Just noticed this graph from the ESPN.com story:

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that Roethlisberger wasn't wearing a helmet. In previous interviews, Roethlisberger has said that he does not like wearing a helmet while wearing a motorcycle.

 

It might be that Big Ben is the second dumbest person in the country behind the President.

 

Press conference scheduled at hospital for 3 p.m.

 

In an unrelated note, I didn't especially like wearing a condom, either.

 

But he is still just a football player... he's not a world leader, he ain't gonna cure cancer, he just plays a damn game.
If the city of Pittsburgh has come to a screeching halt (as someone else put it) over this, those people need to get a grip on reality...there is life beyond the Steelers.

 

Now they're saying things like "critical injuries".  

 

Charlie Batch is scared shitless right now. He might have to actually play this season.
