We are on opposite sides here but in full agreement that there isn't much room left in the middle for either Obama or Romney to pick up.

They affirm, and it just confirms the obvious . . . the Sopranos as rubber stamps.

Eager to see how Gillespie advises Willard how to tiptoe around that eventuality.

There is no one rooting harder for that thing to get struck down than Mittens.

You think he wants to have to defend Arizona in a general? With a motivated Hispanic electorate and plenty of anti-Mormon sentiment in the state?

    Not a chance.

This is a good piece about public opinion the U.S. Supreme Court, mainly because it makes this salient point: that even if the Supremes were (or do) make decisions by taking public opinion into account, you don't really know how the public stands on an issue until a ruling is made.

You don't get the votes of people worried about being laid off by nominating one of the Bobs.

If Cofer Black thinks Romney is a stand-up guy, then Romney is A-OK in my book.

BTW, with Newt now dropping out of the race, and getting ready to endorse Romney, is now the time to mock anyone -- professional pundit and SportsJournalists.com poster alike -- that spoke of a brokered convention as a real possibility?
