What the conservative blogs are not telling you is the Dalai Lama actually said he loves President Bush as a "human being, not as President."

He's the freakin' Dalai Lama, he loves everybody as a human being.

Dana Milbank needs to quaff a hefty mug of STFU and reacquaint himself with the concept of "sleazy." This isn't great, but understandable when you factor in he's running against an armada of folks willing to spend upwards of $100 million to defeat him. By themselves.

Back in January, the Kochs took over the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells -- one of the largest hotels in the Coachella Valley (and a favorite spot of mine). The goal: pledge $100 million to defeat Obama.

It's OK for the Kochs et al to raise money willy-nilly for their various Super-PACs and other "outlets.". But it's not OK for the President to do the same. I get it now. ::)

    I'm concerned.

We have a popular, incumbent President running against a stiff, humorless, out of touch, former one-term Governor of Massachusetts.

President Obama is experienced. He's been successful. The economy is turning around, and he killed Osama bin Laden.

Romney is a rich guy, who made his money at the expense of other people. He reminds you of the guy who fired your dad.

He's the kind of guy only the "1%" could like or relate to.

So, I'm afraid to look. How much does Gallup currently have President Obama up by? How far above 50% is he polling?

See my post on the other thread... But that train's never late.

The Village heartily disapproves of Democrats actually campaigning for office. They're just supposed to be there in case the Beltway loses its' mancrush on whoever is the GOP candidate.

Fully agree and I will not vote for Obama at all.

For Republicans to say the price of gas has doubled since Jan 2009 may be true but it doesn't capture the spirit of the argument. We've been dealing with $3 minimum/gallon gas for about six years. Republicans should focus their efforts on keeping the price low and not that "it has doubled in three years".

It is pretty sleazy of Obama to start campaigning so early, particularly considering that long grace period the GOP gave him after he took office before they began looking toward unseating him in 2012.

Then you're clearly unfamiliar with Dana Milbank. Feckless dipshit doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about that milquetoast concern troll.

Concern troll. That's one I haven't heard in a while.

What was the name of the Dem poster who Zeke famously labeled a concern troll in the last election?

Now I've seen it all. The New Yorker quoting Mike Lupica on presidential politics:
