Still waiting for some evidence that this guy was "forced out" of the campaign because of "right wing" opposition to his sexuality.

If you look at the reporting on him prior to his departure, it's pretty clear he was going to be controversial, regardless of his sexuality:

    That's your big reveal?

It's no "big reveal". The accusations were baseless. The guy was a loose cannon.

    Where's the story?

Looks to me more like the liberal press was uncomfortable with Romney having an openly gay adviser/spokesperson.

All the criticism I've found comes from the left:

So, the left hounds him, and when he leaves the campaign, they claim it was as a result of right wing homophobia. Brilliant.

MSNBC just "teased" the story. They cited right wing critics, without considering any other reasons. And, they're going to use the story to explore if it's "ok" to be gay and a Republican. Beautiful. Nice to see MSNBC is working off of the talking points.

I saw a bisexual midget having a threesome in a porn film once. What's your point?

Then why did Romney hire him?

Yeah, but enough about your ex-wife.

He was qualified, based on his experience as a spokesperson for three US Ambassadors to the UN.

And, as we've seen numerous times in politics, his big mouth got him in trouble. So, he had to go.

It would be like saying the Obama campaign distanced itself from Hillary Rosen because she's a lesbian. One has nothing to do with the other.
