Remember how the budget deal works. If there's no new law, the Bush tax cuts automatically expire and a trillion dollars of equally matched cuts in domestic programs and military spending kick in on January 1, 2013. It's a bipartisan agreement to have another recession.

    I'm not surprised.

Folks here delighted in proclaiming that voters liked Romney less the more they got to know him.

But, while President Obama is very likeable, Campaign Obama is not. He can't run on Hope & Change anymore, so he has to be negative, which turns people off. He blames problems on others. And, his promises for the future are empty. He hasn't accomplished the promises he made in first campaign, why should we believe his new promises.

The Romney campaign's theme is that Obama is a nice guy, who is in over his head. I think it's going to catch on.

And, much as folks like to criticize me for pointing out his cowardice on the gay marriage issue, it's being talked about today on MSNBC, and on the editorial page of the New York Times. It's a "tricky situation". People are noticing his unwillingness to take a principled stand.

Santorum issued what I would call a luke warm email endorsement of Romney. Very nice. Could these people come accept the fact that extreme and/or radical are not Romney's style and that America -- particularly moderates -- don't want it...?

What could be more enthusiastic than an email sent out at midnight on a Monday night?

This is an absolutely serious question: Are you this stupid, or are you trolling?

Perhaps he's taking a principled stand on behalf of his religious beliefs.

    So, why not enunciate that?

    Oh, and what religious beliefs?

    Kind as always, I see.

Iowa doesn't have a wave of unemployment nor foreclosures. People in Iowa are optimistic. They're not Rust Belt voters pining for monotonous factory work with a gold watch after 30 years.

Both Obama and Romney will run negative campaigns. But only the president will offer a negative message. Will his William Jennings Bryan act play in places that don't have economic misery? Not sure about that.

Maybe he prefers to let the states decide marriage for themselves, as they always have.

What religious beliefs? I presume the ones you were so upset about prior to Election Day 2008.

You receive the kindness you deserve.

Turn off Fox News. And talk radio. It's rotting your brain.
