I don't know whether he's lying about his reasons for quitting or not, and quite frankly I don't care. He gets the benefit of the doubt because speculating otherwise makes me feel really sleazy.

 

Remain grateful that it's really easy to run roughshod over 1913's through processes and overall record without going here . . . though to think that the now-very-real possibility of RS's losing Pennsy had nothing at all to do with the recent process sequence is akin to thinking that Ryan's budget proposal is anything more than "put the old and sick on the ice floes, and let 'em drift out to sea."
