I saw a young man leaning on his wooden crutch
He called out to me, "Don't ask for so much"
And a young woman leaning in her darkened door
She cried out to me, "Why not ask for more"

Like a bird on a wire
Like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free

If the old tale that men are more likely to negotiate is true, and I have my doubts, then THAT'S PART OF THE PROBLEM, particularly as it relates to making higher offers to men because of the perceived willingness to negotiate.

Equal work, equal pay. All that other crap, including the suggestion that women are somehow incapable of doing equal work, is excuse-making. It's the CAUSE of the problem.

Why would the candidate withhold 'the dignity of work' from his own wife? Why?

    Ha . . .

The GOP wishes they had that "problem" . . . an ex-president many people actually don't regard as a tool/jerkoff.

You don't have to like his act -- I certainly didn't like all of it -- but he's the best politican you'll ever see.

It's funny to see Bill Clinton and "jerk off" in the same sentence.

Strong words from Mitt's campaign about Ted Nugent's ranting about Obama at the NRA convention.

“Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from,” said a Romney spokeswoman, Andrea Saul. “Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil.”

Come they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
A new born King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
Our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
To lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,

So to honor Him, pa rum pum pum pum,
    When we come.
