Romney is just not a likeable guy and a shake of the etch a sketch won't change that.

Obama has had an awful 3+ years but he is a likeable guy which will get him another 4 years.

Awful? Not by a long shot. Obama's made some political mistakes, primarily thinking he could make deals with an obstructionist Congress, but, overall, he's pulled the country through what could have been a far, far worse economic crisis (for which he was not responsible) and demonstrated a clear-sighted vision for a modern military with highly effective use of drones and special forces. And, oh yeah, he killed Bin Laden.

  3. Killing Bib Laden was the most audacious military decision of the last 400 years.

    Bib Laden?

The one running the chain of fundamentalist lobster shacks?

I will agree that his timely introduction of the Economic stabilization act prevented a complete meltdown.

Here's another example of why politics is what it is. The Wall St. Journal-NBC News poll asked respondents if they agreed with various ideas about the economy, three of which are themes of the Obama campaign, three of which were Romney themes. They ALL got majority support! The majorities for the Obama themes were somewhat bigger, but basically, the voters agree with whatever idea is put before them.
I've made this point before, but the biggest problem with our government is the unwillingness/inability of voters to participate in it. Martians didn't elect all those pols we hate so much.

If Mitt said bad things about cookies, and then left those pants uncommented upon, his judgement is worse than I thought.

The cookie gaffe was particularly ridiculous. I mean, man, they're laying out goodies and cookies for you.

At least ACT like you like them. I mean, what the fuck, man? Pick up a cookie, take a bite, and say "thanks."

Nope: “I’m not sure about these cookies,” Romney said to the woman. “Did you make those cookies? You didn’t, did you? No. No. They came from the local 7-Eleven bakery or wherever.”

    Just an incurable tool.

Looks more likely to me he is an illegal immigrant from the Kingdom of Zubazistan.

You know, I did get a Sir Topham Hatt vibe from him. And you know Sir Topham is part of Mitt's base. He's definitely in the 1 percent in England.
