Good to see you back shottie. We've missed your insight when the "Joe Paterno should retire" discussions have come up.

Indeed, JR, if we go to Buffalo that is a proper tribute....below is Ron's reply on the Buffalo outing thread when I said I would catch a ride with you guys and buy the first round. If we get there we'll add a fourth to that round and leave it untouched.

So if I'm not mistaken (and God knows I've been many times before and will be many times to come), we don't have a set place for the 2011 outing.

What's that, Lassie? We go to NYC, hit the Perfect Pint, watch the Mets and pay our respects to the man this summer?

I think you're a genius, MMII. Even if it's not official, i.e. Moddy announces it etc., I'm in. I'd eat some lobster bisque and have a pint or seven for that man.

Actually, Ron was the one who told me to only ever get Sabrett dogs. Not to waste my time with the others. :)

Unless it's my daughter's birthday (July 25), count me in for Buffalo. Call it Ron's SportsJournalists.com wake.

July 1, 2 or 3 would be great! I was planning to be in the Buffalo area anyway....an extra long weekend for both Canada Day on Friday and Independence Day on Monday.

The Yankees are in Queens from July 13, and the Phillies are there July 15-17.

If those dates aren't so wonderful, the Dodgers pay a visit from June 17-19.

    What do you think, Moddy/IJAG/Meat/NYNJSportsJournalists.com/everyoneelse?
