    angola, thanks for naming him here. I didn't know Ron, but knew spnited. Now I join everyone else in mourning.

    In here, too. ... Still can't believe he's gone. Just goes to show you, you can meet lifelong friends and those who you consider extended family via a message board.

    I'll miss learning from you while competing against you, usually at the same time. I regret never getting a chance to have you as my boss.

    Oh my God! No! Like so many others, I am glad I had that time in Toronto to meet Ron.
    Good guy, great journalist.
    This is bringing back memories of the day my dad died. He was 64 and it was sudden.
    I can't believe it.
    RIP Ron, you will be missed in so many places.

    I didn't get along at all with the guy on here.

    I got along with him great in person.

    I never knew the two were one and the same.

    What a punch to the chest.
