You do understand that the reference to "Baghdad Bob" is a reference to one specific person (douche that he may be) from three years ago and not, really, in any way to the war in Iraq as we sit here today, right?

"There are no American troops at the airport."

Yeah, he's equating the guy who spoke for mass murderer Saddam Hussein with a nobody flak from Kansas City. I guess he thinks that's clever. Like I said: given what's going on in this world today, it's unconscionable. But not surprising.

But didn't you hear? We blew up Zarqawi last week!

The Iraqis are lined up along the highways, passing us flowers!

Please. Take that weak ass crap somewhere else.

My parents live in Kansas City, and my father tells me both of these reporters are good at what they do. One has a talk show in the AM, but neither are just "talking heads" that stain that whole profession.

I really, really hope this issue doesn't go away. It's an absolute joke, but then again, what do you expect from a professional organization mismanaged in such amazing fashion?

Rhonda Moss IS a stain, no need to limit it to this profession. She accents every one of her "tough questions" with venom in her voice that is obviously used to get reaction from her target over information. She sucks at carrying this whole "reporting" title, too. I can think of three or four times within the past year she's royally misinformed the KCSP listeners, most notably her "Ty Law is, without a doubt, going to be a Chief by week's end," proclamation last year days before he signed with the Jets.

I think what the Royals did to Fescoe and Moss is embarrassing to the whole organization--which, all things considered, is saying something. However, any defense of Rhonda Moss beyond this specific incident is laughable, in my opinion.

There you go. I'll take your word for it. I haven't been in the KC area in quite a while.

I listened to KCSP this afternoon, the station Moss works for. They spent the entire hour I was listening talking about the Big Ben injury. It was absolutely mystifying.

Let's look at this from KCSP's perspective. You're not the Royals rights holder and thanks to Keitzman's ineptitude you have a chance to portray your more successful rival station as impotent shills for a franchise that's an embarassment. How do you not raise holy hell about one of your own getting screwed over?

Wouldn't it have been easier to have joined a gym? Just wondering...

Well said, Rufi. Kietzman's stance on this whole thing is mystifying.

As opposed to back in the good old days?

You know, I've been as critical of Whitlock as anyone here, but I think he wrote a damn good column on this issue. It was timely and his stance was pretty clearly stated. I don't understand what you mean by suggesting he bashed but didn't take a stand.

I'm also curious to know what more, specifically, he ought to have done in terms of advocating action. Demand the Royals restore the reporters' credentials? Urge a KC media boycott of the team?
    Urge a fan boycott?
