Al Michaels with 2 gems ...

    1) Dallas can kneel the ball at the 1 and win the game. Losing 21-20 ?

    2) Dallas' season is done. With Seattle at the 2 and Dallas holding 3 timeouts. After Alexander's run, maybe ... but he didn't even bother to check the timeouts.

Still living off that 'miracle' ...

I almost feel bad for Tony Romo, or Bobby Rubina... or whoever that Dallas QB is.

    Almost.

so sick and fucking tired of getting my heart ripped out through professional sports.

But it's like an abusive relationship, you keep coming back for more ...

    Seriously, wtf.

And it still would have been a 1-possession game. And Dallas would have had a minute to go the length of the field to tie it.

Oh. My. God. What a game.

I got in my car to leave work, turned on the radio and heard the safety call that made it 20-15, then listened to the Seahawks TD on the drive home. I got home, changed clothes and turned on the TV ... to see Tony Romo unable to hold onto the snap and take off toward the end zone, only to get stopped short. I don't scream and holler that much over football outside of the Steelers, so watching that play was probably the highlight of my evening.

Props to the 'Hawks. They did what they had to do.

Haven't seen a choke job like that in the pros in some time. Wow, Romo's toast.

Maybe made that call a little early, huh?

Tommy, that was awful.... but you have five Lombardis, and eight Hunts... so no sympathy.

    The official signaled first down.

Game was over barring a miracle overturn. And they got it.

I THINK it was the right call, but the angles did not offer a conclusive view of it... there was no camera right on the first-down marker. Ballsy call by Anderson, I would guess, though, that in private, Pereira might have a word with him.

Tell you what, Grey Pooped-On, when you contribute on any thread like I did on this one, I'll let you know.

    T.O. - 2 catches, 26 yards. Fraud.

    That is all.
