While I am happy the Seahawks won, it is hard to get excited about a matchup with the Bears.

Also, on the field goal play I thought it got blocked initially, then I thought for some insane reason the Cowboys ran a fake and then I thought Romo got the first down - ah the joys of watching football on a 13-inch TV at the office.
The thing that makes the Seahawks win even better is I am in a office full of Cowboys fan and one Bears fan. Good times.

Angola, how can you be anything short of ecstatic? You were in the electric chair, it was plugged in and the executioner had his hand on the switch...and then the governor called.

At the least, this should quiet you poor bastards down a bit about last February. :D

I have a feeling that Alexander will have a big game against the Bears.

If Martin Gramatica throws even the slightest block after Romo drops the ball, Romo never gets tackled from behind. He might not walk into the end zone, but he'd have certainly gotten the first down.

Kind of like that feeling you had of the game being over after Dallas completed that pass on 3rd down? That kind of feeling?

I'm sorry, you lost me at "if Martin Gramatica throws even the slightest block..."

Oh, I am ecstatic. I just wonder how much fun it will be to watch a highly sketchy Seahawks team attempt a run through the playoffs. I keep hoping they will get their offense into a rhythm, but it just doesn't seem to be happening.
Hopefully Marcus Trufant, Darrell Jackson and D.J. Hackett will be back for next week's game.

On the replay I saw that he tried, but he just fell down and Babineaux leapt (leaped?) over him and made the great tackle. I can't wait to get off work and watch the DVRed version I have on HD.

Dude... all those NFC teams are sketchy.... and Holmgren has 12 postseason wins under his massive belt, more than the other four coaches combined.

Didn't the Lions beat the Cowboys? This game shouldn't have even been close.

Truly amazing choke job by the Cowboys, particularly Romo.

Defense didn't give them much of a shot letting Alexander rip off that big run after the botched field goal, either. The guy had 21 carries for 40 yards before, and they let him rip off 20 from just outside the one.

I agree the refs blew the initial spot on Witten. I didn't think the replays provided conclusive evidence to move the spot, either, but that was definitely a gutsy reversal.

At least we don't have to hear the Seahawks fans go on about getting hosed again. If they had lost, I'm sure we'd be hearing about where Williams' foot was on that interception for another decade or so.

I'm not sure why any Seahawks fan would be worried about the Bears. Seattle's biggest weakness right now is at corner and Chicago is ill-equipped to take care of that.
