Marty Lyons said the key to today's Jet game was to control the line of scrimmage. Solid analysis.

    100% agree!

Oh hey Boomer & TJ - I thought McDork WAS the team & an elite QB.

Hmm...is it possible Rush was right (that McDork is only pretty good NFL QB and media pushes him for their own PC reasons (of course Rush is always misquoted on this I would suspect intentionally)).

Yeah, looks like Rush knew something which is why Moma Dork is so upset because the curtin is being pulled back on this McNabb = Tom Brady/PM/Elway/etc charade.

& look I got nothing against Mcnabb he is pretty good but any serious competitor can spot a choker like him a mile away. Moreover, he had a fair amount of Mike Vick in him and as he has gotten older he has to rely more on arm & accuracy & not enough for him + injury prone.

So, yeah seeing Jeff G win today will be great (feeling odd routing for the iggles)

I like this. Momma McDork. Nice ring to it. I also like McNabb, loved him at Syracuse. It's just the fawning media (e.g., Rhoden) which have soured me on him and his hype.

Think that's ballgame for the Pats. A solid, steady performance. The Jets came to play, and they're down 14. Props to the Bradys.

Samuel seals it with an interception return for a touchdown.

Pats vs. Chargers: The ultimate successful postseason coach vs. the ultimate mismanaging postseason coach. The NFL's best player vs. a coach whose reputation is taking out the best player to neutralize the opponent. Nice match-up on both sides in the AFC.

Yeah, guess that would seal it. I wonder whether the Patriots will let Samuel walk when he becomes a free agent, or if they want to remain $28 million under the cap, or whatever the number is.

Great play. Now I'm almost rooting for the Giants to win so I can read Lupica write about the Jets losing and the Giants winning. That would be sooooo awesome. Well, at least Loopy's cursing in the press box now. That's some comfort to me.

I'll be waiting for his "What a great season; Mangini should have been coach of the year; Wait 'til next year" fawning bunk column tomorrow. Can't wait. It's never bad when a Loopy team loses.
