Just curious, why would you take the team with the rookie kicker in a game where a field goal would make the difference?

Went 3-1 this week, with all my winners for next week's games still intact -- Colts, Chargers, Eagles and Bears.

    Belicheck v. Schottenheimer.

I think SD will win, but I think it won't be close, if it is, Marty will blow it.

Not for those of us who went to the 'Cuse-Marquette game. :)

What does a home team normally get automatically? Three points? I think nine points is ridiculous, but the Bears did wax the Seahawks earlier this year.

Your team is still on the sidelines, fanboy. Comparing across seasons won't change that.

Maybe if your team had drafted a good QB and developed him, or had drafted better than marginally for its defense, or not fired its coach every year for a 3-4-year stretch, or had signed any impact free agents, you might have something.

Can't wait for the games next weekend. Man, I'm going to miss the NFL when it's over. I'm just not ready for the NBA full-time yet. :(

You're right about three points for HFA Angola, but you're right this does seem high. But I wouldn't be surprised to see this remain pretty steady or only drop to 8 1/2 by gametime. I think enough people will talk themselves into giving the points.

Full-time NBA? Shit, we are only a month away from pitchers and catchers reporting.

Maybe. But in addition to Grossman, that defense did nothing to inspire confidence in the last three weeks.

I hope the Bears win, I like Grossman, but I'd pick the Seahawks. And hey, I was 3-1 this weekend. Every dog has his day, howwwwl.

Good news for the Bears: The long-term forecast for Chicago shows sub-freezing temps and a "wintry mix" for next Sunday.

Ravens over Colts (won't be close, at all)
Chargers over Patriots (only because I've been humping the Chargers all year...hope Schottenheimlich outdoes Belichick, but I'm not feeling confident)
    Seahawks over Bears
Saints over Eagles (best game of the playoffs)

What is this world coming to you when you pick the Seahawks?

The Seahawks did absolutely nothing in the first game. Alexander is not going to bridge that entire gap, nor is Grossman going to subtract that much.
