    Anna is an awful player.
Sometimes she'd show up at our game in Atlanta, and it was brutal.
She'd put all her money in with nothing, then hope to draw out. After losing it all, she'd buy in for $500 or so and go all-in on the very next hand. All you could do was wait for a monster hand, then get all your money in and hope.

The first night she was supposed to come, I went just to see how good/bad she was in person. Fortunately she didn't show until two nights later, and I walked out of there a cool $600 up.
After her first night, my friends told me that I shouldn't play against her because I play way too tight and would be too scared of calling her stupid bets.

That Dan Harrington is out and Anna Benson is in is all that need be said about the state of the new WSOP.

Well, it's certainly good if you want the WSOP to be this great come-one, come-all event and have very little to do with who plays great poker. For the game and its large-scale popularity, it's great. For those of us hoping to see a killer final table where great play outweighs the donkey factor, it's just more of the same.

Today's one and done, all-in KK vs. AA.

With KK don't you have to give it up after the second re-raise?

But there is this good news.

  7. A travesty when Shannon Elizabeth is eliminated and Anna Benson hangs around ...

  8. Hellmuth is history ... All in with AQ and pocket 7s hold up.

That's almost exactly how he lost last year.

Magriel had 7-7, and Hellmuth had A-K (I think).

John Juanda is on dope ...

    John Juanda Takes A Hit

On a board of 965, John Juanda bets $2,800.  An opponet goes all-in for another $6,700 and Juanda makes the call.  Juanda shows 86 and his opponent shows QQ.  The turn and the river come 4K and Juanda takes a hit down to $9,450.

No flush draw, second pair with a gutshot straight draw ... huh?

  11. Juanda does this shit a lot ... Make you wonder how he kicks so much ass ...
