    2 TABLES LEFT

20 players remain, with Cunningham second in chips. He's really come on strong today.
Lisandro is sitting solidly in the middle of the pack.

Final 2 tables have begun, and Cunningham and Lisandro are both at the featured table.
I'm willing to be that one of them doesn't make the final table.

Also at that table is the chip leader, Jamie Gold. So you've got Gold with 20 mill, Cunningham with 14 mill and Lisandro. Tough crowd.

That's fantastic. I guess he really does "have the power."

Do-gooder David Einhorn is shown the door. Thank God, now we can get back to what makes the event great -- degnerate gamblers out for their own vanity.

    And there goes Lisandro ...

    Jeffrey Lisandro Eliminated 17th ($659,730)
Jeffrey Lisandro moves all-in for $85,000 and receives a call from William Thorsson, Leif Force in the small blind, and Rhett Butler from the big blind. The board comes J9792 as all three players in the side pot check it down. Butler shows K2 as all the other players muck, including Lisandro. Lisandro has been eliminated in 17th place. Tue Aug 08 17:18:00 PDT 2006
    Paul Wasicka Doubles Up
Jeff Lisandro limps in, Jamie Gold calls, Luke Chung calls, William Thorsson calls and Paul Wasicka pushes all in for $1,990,000 from the small blind. Jeff Lisandro calls and everyone else folds. Wasicka flips over KK while Lisandro shows JJ. The board comes the 10937Q and Wasicka doubles up.

Lisandro is left with under $100,000.

You've got to think Cunningham is the favorite. He's really, really good. If he's got some chips, you'd have to think he can outplay the rest of the field.

And the chances of landing a haymaker all-in against him have all but been eliminated. He's not going to get nasty unless he has the goods. If I'm Jamie Gold, I'm praying somebody cripples Cunningham because he does not want to go short-handed against the guy.

We're down to 12. And Gold now has $30 million. Cunningham is second with 13.8 .

    Wow
