And he also cut Steve Yzerman from a Canada Cup team.

    Just sayin'

Of course he did. As we all know, Stevie Y never laid it on the line. He dogged it.

Mike Keenan. That's only the blemish on the Rangers' 1994 Cup. His name is on it as their coach.

Tell ya what. I'll give you money if you take a shot at Keenan for me, Flasher. Just one right in that smug mug of his.

If I ever got close enough, I would try ... and I would have the hero worship of not just an entire city, but a league as well.

Other than my last two pages of posts, I think Keenan's a swell guy.

...Flash, you'd have me bowing down in worship, as well!

After missing half a period yesterday to stand in line at the Fan Attic? I'd better have it now!

I'm not a Keenan fan, but allow me to point out again that Canada went on to win that tournament.

Look ... Keenan had something personal against Yzerman. That's the bottom line. Sure, that team won. But you leave one of the best players in the game -- young or old -- off the roster because of a personal grudge?

But that's just Keenan's style ... and why people haven't figured that out and keep giving him jobs is beyond me.

He left him off the 1991 roster as well, another tournament that Canada won ...

Keenan cannot get past his own ego to do what may be best for a team.
