I can pretty much imitate Howie Rose's Matteau! Matteau! Matteau! call.

The only part I'm unsure of are the three words before ..."Vancouver, the Rangers are headed to the Finals!"

Drury deflects a Staal shot past Ollie The Goalie to give the Rangers a 1-0 midway through the second. It's Staal's first NHL point.

Drury and Roszival each scored a goal and Lundqvist didn't allow a puck past him in the Rangers 2-0 win over the Caps.

Rangers blueline suffered two injures, though. Malik left the game after crashing into the end boards and Girardi took a puck in the face.

No more Malkin's-the-best-Penguin talk, hmmmmmkay. BBJ with two in the first at Colorado.

It's a nice problem for Pittsburgh.

    Crosby's one.

    Malkin's one-A.

Both by some guy named Sidney. Supposed to be halfway decent.

    1st Period
Pittsburgh 10:21, Sidney Crosby 6 (Sergei Gonchar, Mark Eaton)
Pittsburgh 18:07, Sidney Crosby 7 (Evgeni Malkin, Sergei Gonchar)

    second was a ppg

It'd be nice if Jordan Staal pulled his head out of his ass.

Unfortunately for Staal, he's now centering the second line, which is decidedly Crosby- and Malkin-free.

That's no excuse for producing two points in 11 games.

  12. Any damn good coach would know, Jordan Staal doesn't have the playmaking skills to be a top line center. The kid needs to stick to left-wing and develop as a top line power-forward. It makes absolutely no sense to force Staal into something that he is not.

Pittsburgh needs a top line RW so Malkin can go back to centering Staal and Sykora on the second line and Crosby isn't forced to make Recchi look like one. I would keep an eye on Pittsburgh sending Angelo Esposito and something to Atlanta for Marian Hossa.
