Of course, neither is leading the league in goals or points right now.

 

Crosby lost his cool and it cost his team. I'm not sure the refs are exactly being fair in their officiating evident by giving Sid a hard time on his stick change but that's nothing new for the idiots in stripes. I had one linesmen tell me Crosby was being targeted by certain refs and even though things were better last season, you can tell which guys could give two shits about him and make him go through more to earn his points.

If Stern thought he had a problem in the NBA, he should be glad he's not over the NHL with guys like Devorski having a nice reputation in Vegas.

Sounds like the Pens played a pretty inspired 20 minutes tonight.

 

Anyone have the NHL Network channel? I just discovered it on my DirecTV yesterday. Watched highlights of the 1991 playoff series between the Pens and Bruins.

I can catch the final wrap-up show in the morning before I take off for work as it is repeated quite a bit. Awesome.

 

I'm fairly certain it's as follows: "And the Rangers have one more hill to climb and it's Mount Vancouver, the Rangers are headed to the finals."

 

I have no idea if it is, but I wouldn't count on it. Atlanta and Pittsburgh have long had the same problem, the lack of dependable defenceman who plays defence. Not a good match for trading partners, although these days not much would surprise me.
