I will say that he is in the new "Live Every Shift" commercials the league has brought out.

But where do you see those other during NHL broadcasts?

Garon was unbelieveable. Very well could pave the way for Rollie being traded sooner rather than later. Pittsburgh maybe?

Just in case you haven't heard it enough, it's all your fault.

"Well, first of all, the media has misconstrued the comments," started Keenan. "The question was, 'What about the penalty-killing?' So you didn't ask me about Miikka Kiprusoff, you asked me about the penalty killing, and I said that he missed a shot that he'd like to have back and he's part of the penalty killing. So that was addressing the question, 'What happened to your penalty-killing tonight?' So it wasn't talking about the goaltender."

He concluded with a stern tut-tut.

"I've been in the media before," said Keenan, "so I know the deal here."

His point being, Kiprusoff was among the penalty-killers who had let down the team Saturday - meaning he was not being singled out.

OK, fine. But what about that goalie?

His current numbers - a 3.19 goals-against average and .884 save percentage aren't up to Kiprusoff's normal standards.

"He's not the first goaltender who's had a slow start in this league and he won't be the last," said Keenan, who'll see his star stare down the visiting Minnesota Wild today. "Goaltenders are like players - sometimes, they're really on top of their game; sometimes, they're not. The unfortunate thing for them, when they're not on top of their game, they're the last line of defence. They've got nowhere to hide."

Today's hockey poll: who's the biggest asshole in hockey: Keenan or Clarke?

"We didn't ask Roger Neilsen to get cancer".

    Can't trump that, baby.

Bobby by about ten lengths. :)

That's true, but when Gretzky and Gartner hate your guts, that's pretty damning.

Anybody who is a hockey fan needs to read Ed Willes book Gretzky to Lemieux.
An amazing read. Keenan was bat shit crazy back then
