Marty York used to have a column in the Globe & Mail. And didn't he appear regularly on HNIC?

He's now writing for what's essentially the Hicksville Daily Shopper.

Wasn't York on SportsNet for a while?

Yes, I know someone who works for sports net and Marty was the butt of a lot of jokes.
He is a douche of the highest order

HC & I are going to see this on the weekend (well, I haven't actually asked her but I know she'll want to)

"Breakfast with Scott" staring Tom Cavanagh (from TV show Ed) about a gay sportscaster who used to play for the Leafs

Someone told me Cavanagh used to play hockey at Queen's University. Is that ironic? :)

Great review in the Globe & Mail as well.

Unfortunately, only playing (for now) in The Centre of the Universe.

    HB,
It'll be interesting to see what kind of release it gets. Opens in Toronto and Vancouver today. I have no idea if it's doing anything south of the border.

Only reason I heard about was that you posted about it before and I've read the Toronto papers' stories about the flick. Down here? Not a word's been written or spoken about it.

There was a piece in the NYTimes about it when they announced the Leafs were on board.

Ah, I didn't see that story.

Anywhoo, I'd love to see that flick.
