CPS: you said Colorado was a dark horse.

And now you say the Canucks are as well

How many horses of a different colour do you have in your barn?

I don't know how much of a dark horse they are they won the division last year.

Luongo the best in the league? Hmmm ... we're going to have fight this one out with beer. I don't think Marty is relinquishing that title any time soon. :D

But you're right about our division, JC. Nobody comes out of it unscathed. But it's one of the reasons the playoffs are always fun out our way.

Wow! pink is certainly Iginla's colour ;D

JC, the reason I say dark horse, is analysts are not picking Vancouver to come out of the West. The talk is about Detroit.

I recall another season when 'analysts' said Detroit was coming out of the west ... when was that? Hmmm ... can't quite think of the year ... can someone help me out here? Do you think it was ... oh, I don't know ... 2004?

At this time of the year, we're all "analysts" .

The only thing we can't agree on is which team will be the worst: Phoenix, Chicago or Boston?

It's a good argument, you can't go wrong with either. At this point IMO I would go with Luongo. At some point Brodeur's age and workload have to have an affect on his play. I hope not because Brodeur is one of the best to play the game.
Every debate should be over beer, I'll get the first round

    Chicago ... hands down ...

By the way, anyone hear anything about the Nashville ownership saga continuing? I was still halfway asleep for the 6 a.m. news but I think I heard the potential buyers have pulled out.

I'd love to see him break Patty's legs ... er ... ah ... records.
