That's the best the East can do? Really?

Small trade between the Lightning and the Stars. Lightning get former Hobey Baker award winner Junior Lessard, give up D Dan Jancevski.

Great minds think alike. If MLSE is serious about building a winner, Neil Smith is the perfect hire. He already knows what it's like to rebuild in a major market. He's from Toronto, a lifelong Leafs fan. And, as far as I know, he works in television, so he'd be available.

Knowing that Bettman wants the YoungStars game to be a hitting-free exhibition--like the All Star Game--I am rooting for Lucic to drop the gloves.

Saw Neil Smith on the NHL Network the other night. I think he's working for them/TSN.

By the way, is there a limitation on the YoungStars game, like if you've played in it once, that's it?

So far, in the last while, we've seen Mike Millbury, Keith Jones, Bobby Fucking Clarke and Neil Smith on TSN.

Millbury is great. Brian Burke without the asshole gene.

I think Millbury's going to be an in-studio fixture for NBC this season, which looks like a very good move.

Millbury doesn't pull any punches. He sure doesn't suck up to anyone.
