MB - apparently Paul Ranger slashing Crosby's hands is why Crosby has a likely broken ankle. some fans just don't get it.

Yup, just heard the same thing, TH.

 

If Crosby is out any length of time, the Mats Sundin trade rumor is going to heat up.

 

There's a Mats Sundin trade rumor? Is it related to the Marian Hossa trade rumor? The Jonathan Cheecho trade rumor? Hell, I've heard pretty much everybody with a pulse rumored to the Pens in the last couple of weeks.

But seriously, does the Sundin one have any weight?

 

I've been a Leafs fan since Christ was a cowboy but if Mats went to the Pens, I'd be the biggest Pittsburgh fanboy looser ever.

 

I'm not going to buy the rumor talk about Sundin unless Detroit or Pittsburgh agree to move a #1 pick and good young player.

 

Well, picks should be the one thing the Pens could move. They've got all kinds of kids already ... though the system depth is apparently the drizzling shits. Would probably make sense for Toronto to pay some of Sundin's salary, both to get better picks and because the Pens sure as hell aren't.

 

I don't believe any rumour talks but still..........

Peter Forsberg could interest Pittsburgh since he's a free agent.

 

Markvid - They'll need to take a look at his ankle again tomorrow but he's probably out 4-6 weeks at best with the way his ankle bent after hitting the boards.
