Sixty eight minutes until Brian Leetch's No. 2 is raised to the rafters at MSG. Should be an emotional night at the big house on 33rd Street.

Leave it to MSG to fuck up a tribute to one of its legendary athletes.

On the video boards on behind both goals, there's a message that reads "Welcome Home Bryan."

One problem. Leetch's first name is spelled Brian.

Sounds like something the Leafs would do

Christ, the guy only played 17 years with the Rangers. You'd think that someone would check the fucking spelling of his name.

Great, hilarious moment at MSG. Leetch thanked Jim Dolan for having a hand in the creation of tonight's event and the crowd booed the owner's name in unison.

I was reading something today about how tough the Toronto media is and someone scoffed and mentioned Montreal and NY.

Apparently some NY writer described Dolan as "dumber than a game seven technical".

Wow! Brian Leetch just announced that Adam Graves will have his No. 9 retired by MSG! There's a loud ovation from the crowd for one of New York's most beloved athletes.

Somehow, someway, I will be in MSG that night. Take that to the motherfucking bank.

That a wonderful, hilarious, accurate line.

I am an Adam Graves fan HB but does he really deserve to have his number retired?
If you were in charge would you retire his#

I'm biased. Adam Graves is my all-time favorite athlete. So, yes, I think he deserves to have his number retired by the organization because he was amongst the best players along with being the most accountable and best person in the franchise's history.

That said, I think if MSG is going to do it right, they need to retire it with his name on one side and Andy Bathgate's on the other. They need to retire Harry Howell's No. 3. There were so many great Rangers prior to 1994 that deserve the same honor as Eddie Giacomin, Rod Gilbert, Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Mike Richter and soon Adam Graves.
