Send him to Edmonton or Columbus or Nashville; someplace where he can grow up and get his act together.

Doesn't he make 3.5 per, that's an awfully expensive backup.
    What about Emery for Khabibulin?

Might make sense, but Khabby makes more than Emery. I'm not sure Ottawa would want to take on more money to get rid of a headache.

Roloson could make sense, since he's only owed 3 mil next season. They could go after Chris Mason or Dan Ellis from Nashville as well.

Not a bad idea, but I get the feeling Emery loves making himself the story and Chicago's a big media market.

I think he needs to go somewhere where he can get his shit together off the ice.

    Murray will dump him.

Four minutes late to a practice means you're almost an hour late.

Rangers and Whalercanes could be a three-hour fight. Scott Walker got away with planting Scott Gomez on the boards ... should have been a penalty.

Here's a story on the comeback attempt of Darren McCarty. He's playing for the UHL's Flint Generals, and was just given a tryout for the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Big jump from the UHL beer league to the AHL. Not sure if he still has anything left either.

The teams combined for 66 PIMS in the first; 35 for the Rangers and 31 for the 'Canes.

  10. Flash - your boy just scored a sweet goal on Brodeur.

Sounded sweet on the internet audio. Hope there's no problems with the DVR tonight.

I actually covered McCarty's visit here to Kalamazoo last Saturday (I'm too modest to post my own link, specifically, but if anyone cares to read it visit www.mlive.com/kzgazette).

He was an unbelievably great interview. Very candid. He stood out in the IHL, physically. I'll be interested to see if he does the same in the A.
