... and frankly the backup looked much better and was much more effective at controlling the rebounds.

Guess so. John Grahame has already been announced as the starter between the pipes for Carolina on Saturday.

Very true. Big rebounds all night.

Indeed. One wonders if he would have re-signed, had he known the front office was going to screw up and lose both captains. Suspending Teppo while he underwent heart surgery didn't sit well with a lot of fans, either...

Big night for Rick Nash, who finished with four points (two goals, two assists).

On Bertuzzi ... I have friends from his area of Ontario ... the rest of his family are just as dick-ish, I'm told.

[blue]No, no. Last year was all Dave Lewis' fault. Now that he's out of there, the Bruins will no doubt win the Cup.

Lot of locals want Jeremy Jacobs to buy the Bills someday. I keep telling them to be careful what they wish for...

Absolutely tragic what Jacobs has done to this once proud franchise and its many fans who have, for the most part, either given up on hockey all together or chosen to follow a local AHL team, in which there are many in the area to choose from.

I got home tonight, and found that my cable company has added the NHL Network.

    I am very hapy.
