Really? I'm guessing the Rogers feed I'm watching the Sens-Devils game on must be only local.

BTW, what's up with the Senators organist playing the theme from "The Flintstones" as the players leave after the first period?

  4. Crosby did not practice.

Last time I checked, Mellon Arena doesn't have an X-ray machine so why did Sidney tell the Pittsburgh and Anaheim media that he got them between period. It is imposible for Crosby to have left the arena, go across town, and back within 15 minutes.

Sources tell me that another media avenue is supposed to write about the HNIC Inside Hockey and broadcast post-mortem this week. When it comes out, I will post on this board.

Red Wings hold off the Oilers 4-2, Chelios gets a goal as he hits eighth on the all-time games played list.

Hot and Cold in CHL this week:

Just want to point out that Jakub Voracek, who came back from the Blue Jackets, was a force to be reckoned with on the ice for the Mooseheads. I went to one of the games that he returned for and he was on fire. The Moose won back to back games. Against the Sea Dogs, Voracek proved why he will be in the majors not before long. The Moose now have a great shot this season with him coming back.

    JR ...

Sundin flirts with history ... I'm thinking 'go Cam!'

    http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=220218&hubname=

It could be a milestone evening at the Air Canada Centre when Mats Sundin and the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Carolina Hurricanes in the lone NHL game of the night.

The Leafs captain is one goal away from moving into sole possession of first place on the franchise list. Sundin scored his 389th goal as a Maple Leaf against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, tying him with Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler for the top spot.

He is also just one point away from tying Sittler's franchise record for career points (916).

He's been flirting with it since last yeasr. Didn't score once in the last 12 games of the season.

Doesn't matter. I'll miss it anyway.

I'm going to be at the opera tonight, taking in the COC's four hour production of Verdi's Don Carlos.

    Why?

    Because HC is in it.

That sounds like a better time anyway!
