Is there anybody who isn't happy about this news?

  2. Darcy Tucker is celebrating as we speak.

Video evidence on why Tucker is glad to see Mick gone...

I don't even need to click that link to know that it features footage of Tucker whining, crying, throwing a temper tantrum or basically being an all-around fucktard.

Count Chris Simon among those who are surprised with the length of Pronger's suspension.

  6. Simon should shut his mouth and let others do the talking for the gross incompetence of Colin Campbell. Gary Bettman and Bill Daly should tell the same to Campbell because the guy absolutely flushed the league's credibility down the toilet by only suspending Pronger for eight games.

We're talking about a guy (Pronger) who has a long rap sheet, twice suspended last season for head shots and has been known as a guy who uses his stick as a weapon. I can understand why Simon got 30 because he placed Ruutu on a serving dish for his stomp but Pronger lined up Kesler's leg with the same intent.

Pronger should be gone for 20-25 games and the NHLPA is going to use this against the NHL, great job Campbell.

First person I'd go to for reax on the Pronger suspension would be Simon. I'm sure he didn't seek out the reporter.

  9. Flash - As a reporter, you have to seek a comment from Simon. He should be thankful he's got a job in the NHL.

I'm not sure why there is any argument about Simon's comments about the Pronger suspension. Who better than Simon knows about kicking another player and being suspended by the league?

Thanks for pretty much repeating what I just said. Whether he should be thankful for his job is really quite irrelevant in this discussion. Try setting aside your prejudice for the way he plays and acting like a reporter.

Essentially what I was trying to say.

Michael Russo has Colin Campbell's side of the story:

I agree with some of Campbell's rationale. However, after what happened with Zednik on the ice and Dan Boyle off of it, there should have been a suspension in the first place. And, there'd be a lot less of an outcry if the suspension was 10 games, because that would extend into the playoffs.

What's more interesting to me is this:

Did the Ducks intentionally not show the viz?
